This major investment by RWE is aimed squarely at solving a key challenge as it continues building its ample pipeline of offshore wind projects in Europe.
“The building of our own construction ships will overcome one of the most important supply bottlenecks we face in the construction of wind farms at sea,” RWE Innogy chairman Fritz Vahrenholt says in a statement.
