Jack-up barge Lisa-A is currently being loaded with components in the port of Mostyn, and will then proceed to install the first of 25 wind turbines atop foundation piles that were sunk last year.
“During the summer the wind farm will start to produce its first electricity, and we expect that all 25 wind turbines will be generating clean, green electricity by the final quarter of 2009,” says Rhyl Flats project manager Richard Watson.
