Thornton Bank will be the first of its offshore projects outside the UK, but it is also developing the massive 1,960MW Innogy Nordsee 1 wind farm off Germany, and another 2,000MW of projects in Dutch waters.
RWE becomes largest stakeholder in C-Power
Germany's RWE Innogy has bought a 26.72% stake in Belgian offshore wind developer C-Power, making it the largest stakeholder in Belgium's flagship offshore wind project, the 300-megawatt (MW) Thornton Bank.
