Utility RWE expects to start construction on its Kaskasi offshore wind array in the North Sea in the third quarter of next year after Germany’s Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) granted planning permission for the 342MW offshore wind project.
The wind farm is set to go online in the summer of 2022, with the start of commercial operation seen in the fourth quarter of that year.
