Russia in May and June will hold a tender for 1.29GW in onshore wind capacity to be commissioned in the years 2018 to 2021, and also will auction off solar and hydro-electric capacity, the Russian Association of Wind Power Industry (RAWI) said.

The onshore wind tender under Russia’s Rules of the Wholesale Electricity and Capacity Market will be held in two stages: a pre-qualification stage from May 29 to June 2, and a second stage from June 5 to 9, only for projects accepted in the first auction.
