Tove Roskaft has been named head of offshore wind at newly enlarged developer Mainstream Renewable Power following its merger with floating pioneer Aker Offshore Wind, whose current CEO Philippe Kavafyan won’t be making the move into the combined operation, said parent group Aker Horizons.

Roskaft, previously chief operating officer at Aker Offshore Wind and a 25-year Aker veteran, will report to Mainstream CEO Mary Quaney following the merger, which creates a business with a 27GW portfolio spanning onshore wind and solar, plus floating and fixed-bottom offshore.
