Having trialed REpower machines for the first time last year, juwi will buy up to 240 of the 3.4M104 and 3.2M114 units during 2011 and 2012. The latter turbine was launched commercially in March.
“We scored points with the high hub heights of our 3MW turbines in particular, which make it possible for the customer to operate especially profitably in inland locations,” says Jens Müller-Nielsen, REpower’s managing director responsible for the German market.
