The EDF Energies Nouvelles (EFD EN) unit delivered €554m ($730.4m) to group profits before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) in the January-June period, 48% more than at the same stage last year.
EDF said EDF EN benefited from assets sales, higher output from new capacity and the impact of its French offshore wind partnership with Canada’s Enbridge.
EDF EN’s output rose 16% year-on-year to more than 6TWh in the first half, and the business has 1.6GW
