The US tax equity market for wind and solar will see record deal volume in 2020 with developers pushing extra hard to complete projects to capture as much value as possible from federal tax credits before they step down or sunset.

JP Morgan, a leading tax equity investor, predicts deal volume could total $15bn versus perhaps $12-13bn last year – 65% wind and 35% solar PV - and $12bn or slightly less in 2018.
