Italy’s Prysmian Group will supply about 170 kilometres of 66kV XLPE-insulated inter-array cables for the 750MW Hollandse Kust South 3&4 offshore wind array in the Netherlands for utility Vattenfall.

Delivery of the cables that will be produced in Nordenham, Germany, is due by 2022.

“We are proud to support Vattenfall in this important project, providing the Netherlands with CO2-free electricity,” said Hakan Ozmen, executive vice president at Prysmian’s projects business unit.
