Italy’s Prysmian will sail out its new cable supership, Leonardo da Vinci, to lay the longest export line yet installed in the offshore wind industry, linking the UK’s Sofia project to the onshore grid, after signing a €200m ($240m) contract with developer RWE Renewables.
