Italian cable specialist Prysmian Group has been awarded a contract by Dutch player Van Oord for the development of a submarine inter–array cables system for Borssele 3&4 offshore wind farms, off the Netherlands.
Under the deal, Prysmian will be responsible for the design, manufacture, supply and testing of about 175km of 66kV three core cables with XLPE insulation of various cross – section.
