Siemens Gamesa has appointed Tim Dawidowsky as its chief operating officer, who is joining the wind turbine manufacturer from a position as senior vice president for project development at majority owner Siemens Energy.

Dawidowsky had already been a member of the board of directors at Siemens Gamesa since 2020.

“Tim has the ideal blend of skills and experience for this role in Siemens Gamesa right now. He has a proven track record of effecting successful turnarounds in businesses operating in complex circumstances like those we are facing,” Siemens Gamesa chief executive Jochen Eickholt said.
