“We want to be active in markets where the water depths are appropriate for our technology. Generally, that means 45 to 50 meters or deeper,” says Kevin Banister, vice president for business development in the Americas and Asia.
“Significant pockets” off the northeast coast such as the Gulf of Maine, and south of Massachusetts or Rhode Island, are suitable for WindFloat technology, as are certain other locations along the eastern seaboard, he suggests.
