Prices went up at Spain’s latest onshore wind tender amid regulatory uncertainty, rising raw material prices and logistics problems affecting the sector.
Despite a 50% oversubscription, the average winning bid price of the 2.26GW in onshore wind capacity auctioned off reached €30.18 ($35.14) per megawatt hour, according to Spanish wind power association AEE.
That was lower than in other European markets such as Germany, where winning bids at the latest onshore wind auction averaged €57.90/MWh,
