The Arthur Kill Terminal on Staten Island, New York City, was awarded $48m by the US Department of Transportation (DoT) to support its redevelopment as an offshore wind port ready for gigascale sector growth in the New York Bight.

The 32-acre terminal is being renovated for use as a staging and assembly port by a joint venture of Empire State Development, the economic agency of the state of New York, and privately owned Atlantic Offshore Terminals.
