Poor wind conditions at offshore and onshore wind farms pushed down the first half 2021 result in renewable energy at German utility EnBW.

Winds were weaker both relative to the previous year and to the long-term average, EnBW said, leading to a 10.3% decline in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) in renewables to €382.1m ($453.5m) compared to the year-earlier period.
