Vestas announced it will build a turbine nacelle and hub assembly plant in Szczecin, Poland, as the Baltic Sea nation begins to see the industrial benefits of its ambitious offshore wind programme.
The Danish wind power giant will start operating the new plant in the second half of 2024 assembling key components for its flagship V236-15MW turbine, which was in September lined up to supply the 1.2GW
