Germany as part of a recent reform of its renewables and offshore wind legislation decided to auction off 1.55GW in advanced pre-developed offshore areas each in 2017 and 2018.
Those projects need to either already have won a license, completed a public works planning procedure or have held a public hearing for that.
Despite being proactive in the tendering process, PNE Wind made clear that it does not fully approve of the reformed legislation.
