EBAP was launched earlier this year by Jérôme Guillet, who, while working for Dexia, played an integral role in last year’s 11th-hour financial rescue of the Belwind offshore wind farm – including shaking a €300m ($403m) loan out of the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Cuxhaven-based PNE no doubt hopes some of the Belwind magic will rub off on Gode Wind II, which was approved by the German government last year, but is stuck on drawing board until financing materialises.
