Orsted intends to invest up to £12bn ($16.4bn) directly with Scottish companies in developing and building offshore wind farms over the next ten years if it were to be successful with its multiple bids in the current ScotWind leasing round.
The Danish utility has entered bids for five floating or bottom-fixed projects alone or with partners, which combined would provide more than 8.5GW
