Decommissioning of Japan’s pioneering Fukushima Forward floating wind project – the sector’s first array, a four-unit demonstrator built in 2013 – will take place in 2021, the country’s government has announced, with the three units currently moored as part of development being towed in to join one brought ashore this past summer.
