French energy regulator CRE has launched the preliminary process for the tender for a 230-270MW floating wind project, foreseen being the world’s largest when it enters operation later this decade.

After five months of public debate about the floating project of southern Brittany last year, the CRE now has started the first phase of the so-called ‘competitive dialogue’ process (link to documents in French here), in which interested bidders have until 1 July 2021 to submit their applications, detailing their technical and financial capacities, as well as references.
