Phase one of the central Oregon wind development came on line in 2007 with 76 turbines capable of generating 125 megawatts (MW). PGE is using larger, 2.3MW turbines for phase two, which will have capacity of 150MW when it is completed later this year.
A third phase, with 76 turbines, is scheduled for completion in 2010, bringing total capacity at the project to 450MW.
