Pattern Energy Group has completed its acquisition of the up-to-1GW Clines Corners wind power developments in the US western state of New Mexico, raising its project pipeline there to more than 4GW representing $8bn in planned investments.
The San Francisco-based developer will add the 325MW southernmost part of the development opportunity acquired from Orion Wind Power Resources to a 675MW suite of projects that it intends to connect to the planned Western Spirit transmission line.
