Pattern, the US-listed wind yieldco, sold 1.2 million MWh of power during the three-month period to 30 June, 10% lower than the company’s “long-term expectations”.
Shares of Pattern Energy tumbled by more than 8% in early trading on Wednesday.
In April, Pattern warned that it would likely generate 5% less electricity than expected during the whole of 2015, due to poor wind conditions across the western US and Texas at the beginning of the year.
