Global Marine says that EU authorities are growing more concerned about the prospect of overly dominant companies in the rapidly developing offshore wind sector.
“The shareholders of the proposed joint venture have considered the view of the authorities and reached the conclusion that it unfortunately may not be in the best interest of either company to proceed with this proposal at this time,” says Global Marine chief executive Gabriel Ruhan.
