Profits declined sharply during the third quarter of the year at Danish utility Orsted amid significantly lower wind speeds across its offshore portfolio and the absence of massive gains from a divestment in the year-earlier period.

Revenue actually rose by 45% to DKr14.51bn ($2.26bn) in the third quarter from a year earlier, pushed higher by rising income from the bioenergy & other business that went up due to the exceptional performance by CHP plants and high gas earnings.
