Danish utility Orsted suffered a massive loss in the third quarter of 2023, mainly due to impairment losses amounting to DKr28.4bn ($4.02bn) arising from troubles at its US offshore wind projects that also prompted the company to cancel two gigascale projects and put a question mark over another two.
Investors reacted sourly to the news, with Orsted shares plunging 23.40%
