Danish offshore wind pacesetter Orsted is assuming to divest half of the first 900MW of its Changhua projects off Taiwan, chief executive Henrik Poulsen said during the utility’s capital markets day.
The acreage corresponds to Changhua 1 (600MW) and part of Changhua 2 (300MW - labelled Changhua 2a), which were awarded to the company in a May 2018 tender for projects with commissioning dates in 2020-25 that will gain a generous feed-in tariff.
