Orsted and WindServe Marine will partner to construct two purpose-built crew transfer vessels (CTVs), which will transport personnel for construction, maintenance, and operation from ports to the Danish developer’s future US offshore projects.
US Workboats has begun fabrication of the first CTV in Hubert, North Carolina. The vessel will service Dominion’s two-turbine, 12MW pilot project off the coast of Virginia that Orsted will build, and later Orsted’s facilities in the northeast.
