Thanks to soaring orders, the Nordex Group has refinanced a guarantee credit facility of €1.21bn ($1.31bn) for three years until April 2023 with a group of 21 international banks despite the ongoing uncertainty in the wind sector due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The guarantee facility provided by a syndicate led by Banca IMI (Intesa Sanpaolo Group), BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, HSBC and UniCredit Bank allows the wind turbine manufacturer to secure its project business with customers with bank guarantees in the respective main currencies.
