E.ON unveils scaled-back 400MW Rampion off Southern England

E.ON said Rampion's 116 turbines will have tip-heights of 140-metres.

The revised project plan reflects a scaling-back from the up-to 700MW originally envisaged by E.ON off the coast of Sussex.

The German group said the final design reflected factors such as offshore survey results, and environmental and commercial concerns raised during the consultation process.

The UK government granted consent for the project in July.
