RWE said the 295MW Nordsee Ost project in Germany and the 576MW Gwynt y Mor off North Wales, where RWE has a 50% share, made their full impact felt on its January-March figures.
The Renewables unit delivered a quarterly operating profit of €154m, broadly flat on the same period in 2015.
But the year-ago quarter included RWE’s proceeds of the sale of Gwynt y Mor's transmission assets.
