Offshore wind majors join Scotland to back OWA cost-cutting R&D push

Nine of the largest offshore wind power developers in Europe are clubbing together with the Scottish government to invest some £8m ($10.3m) to fund development of new technologies that will cement the levelised cost of energy (LCoE) from the resource at under £100/MWh by 2020.
