Siemens Gamesa is in line to supply turbines to Ocean Winds’ 860MW Moray West offshore wind farm in Scotland, the developer said.
Ocean Winds named the Spanish-German wind turbine manufacturer preferred supplier for Moray West as it wraps up commissioning work on its neighbouring 950MW Moray East, which uses 9.5MW machines from rival Vestas and will become Scotland's largest offshore wind farm when completed.
