NRG Energy to spin off RE, EV units

NRG Energy on Friday ended a headlong rush into clean energy this decade by announcing it will spin off its consumer-focused solar and electric vehicle charging operations into a unit called GreenCo, and would be open to seeking strategic partners for the business.
