Novera says that Infinis’ offer of £0.63 per share "significantly undervalues” the company, and overlooks its strong developmental pipeline of wind farms. The price of Novera’s shares, which are traded on London’s AIM stock market, surged to £0.65 on the news of the rejected offer.
Infinis, the UK’s largest generator of electricity from landfill gas, made its bid after buying nearly 19 million shares in Novera on 6 October, taking its total stake in the company to 42.6%.
