An innovative spiral-welded steel wind tower concept being developed by US outfit Keystone Tower Systems that could be ten-times faster to fabricate than conventional designs is moving to market following the addition of three industry veterans to its management team.
Steve Lockard, the former CEO of blade-maker TPI Composites, will step in as Keystone’s chairman of the board, while Larry Oglesby joins from Pratt & Whitney as chief operating officer, and Peter Bierden, formerly of GE, will takes up the post of chief growth officer.
