New Jersey has launched a hunt for “novel approaches” that will help the state integrate large volumes of offshore wind into its power system.

Grid operator PJM Interconnection opened a 120-day solicitation window on behalf of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) for qualified project developers to submit potential transmission solutions.
