Norway unveiled a range of measures its government said would slow onshore wind development in the Nordic nation, apparently in response to opposition to projects.
Energy minister Tina Bru said proposals she will put before parliament include stricter environmental impact rules, tighter construction deadlines, more power for regional officials and a minimum distance rule from homes of four times the turbine height, or at least 800 metres.
