Canada’s Northland Power could have offshore wind turbines spinning off Korea even sooner than its Taiwanese projects reach completion, following its recently sealed partnership with Kepco E&C, chief executive Mike Crawley tells Recharge.
Northland is also speaking to potential partners in Japan, where the parliament recently passed a bill backing offshore wind, and Crawley describes strong market fundamentals across northeastern Asia – including for floating projects.
