A trio of chunky North American deals on the final days of the third quarter saw Vestas end the period with a total of 3.17GW of announced turbine orders – a performance one analyst described as “solid” and evidence that the global wind giant had put a tough start to the year behind it.
The Danish group will add smaller unannounced orders to the Q3 tally later.
