Nordex’s revenues rose to €1.18bn ($1.6bn) from €1.13bn in 2008. But its operating profit slid to €40m from €63m, due primarily to higher structural costs as the firm expands its staff in Germany and the US in expectation of a rebound in the global turbine market.
