Duke Energy Renewables has tapped Nordex to supply 74 of the German OEM’s 4.8MW turbines for its 350MW Frontier Windpower II project in northern Oklahoma, after the developer signed off-take deals for most of the capacity.

“This project will utilise one of the most modern turbines in the country. The turbine technology will maximize the wind resource in Oklahoma to benefit customers," Patxi Landa, chief sales officer of the Nordex Group, said in a statement.
