Nordex has been confirmed as the turbine supplier for the 240MW South Kyle wind farm in Scotland, the largest onshore wind project by Swedish utility Vattenfall in the UK and also one of the largest subsidy-free project in Europe so far.
Vattenfall in late April had already announced the go-ahead for the project, which after its completion it will sell to renewables investor Greencoat UK Wind.
