Nordex became the latest major wind turbine OEM to indicate an increase in the price of its turbines is on the cards, as inflation in raw materials such as steel puts pressure on manufacturers.
“In the medium term, we need to pass on additional costs to the end clients as an industry, as also indicated by our peers,” Ibrahim Özarslan, chief executive of Nordex’s Europe division, told Recharge in an interview.
