Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has kick-started the construction on its largest-ever wind farm in Europe, the 475MW Nysäter project in Sweden, in a turnkey contract for German power supplier RWE.

The OEM in 2018 had received the order for 104 of its N149/4.0-4.5 turbines and 10 of its N131/3900 machines from German utility E.ON Climate & Renewables, which since has transferred the project to the renewables unit of rival RWE under a wide ranging share and asset swap deal.
