Nordex reintroduced financial guidance for 2020 as the wind turbine manufacturer said it expects sales and operational profitability to rise further in coming years, helped by a ‘green recovery’ from the economic slump triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit company operations.

The OEM also released partial preliminary financial figures for the first three quarters of this year that point to a gradual recovery.

“With the successful sale of the European project development pipeline to RWE, we have strengthened our core business, whilst at the same time, successfully countering the effects of the Covid-19 crisis,” chief executive José Luis Blanco said.
