Nordex sees potential for including super-sized onshore wind turbines of up to 7MW in its product development plans, the OEM’s chief executive José Luis Blanco told Recharge.
But Blanco said the key question is whether such large turbines would spur a further decline in the cost of energy, due to increased costs to deal with constraints such as transportation and to establish a supply chain.
